Key features
This seminar focused on identifying various issues to be addressed in general (interactivity, bandwidth, interoperability, affordability, security) and specific to our nation (multilingual/multicultural diversity) in implementing on-line learning tracks. It also suggested the best possible solutions and the focus areas where we need to concentrate our energies in developing technologies, mobile learning, blended learning scenarios and aim to bring the benefits of e-learning (in terms of providing affordable, localized, user friendly, reachable, secured, just-in-time improved learning) to every nook and corner – heading towards “e-learning for all”.
ELELTECH INDIA 2005 was designed so that one can identify the tools, technologies and implementation approaches that are needed to foster more comprehensive online learning environments. The seminar was conducted with the following key features:
- Keynote address and invited talks were delivered by experienced professionals involved in designing, developing and implementing E-learning programs
- Focused Sessions discussed the following:
- technologies, products, content, deployment methodologies, open source and open courseware, standards, quality assurance mechanisms, caring for multi-lingual and multi-cultural diversity, mobile learning, security issues, local issues
- management, operations, and technology issues for successful E-learning initiatives
- Exhibition featured innovative solutions and valuable technologies for advanced learning environments
